Quality bourbon and tastes more refined then most. Had this alongside Buffalo Trace and it tasted really similar. Might be Kentucky's favorite colonel using his favorite mash bill.

A little alcohol and vanilla in the nose. Loads of warms that lingers. The caramel vanilla spice is pretty mild, higher proof stands out. Not much flavor lingering, but the subtle spice is nice. Warm top to bottom. Wish it were snowing.

No idea what this is. Inappropriately narrowing down the 'breakdown' list tells me it's a 'rye' or 'other'. The afterburn feels like chili peppers rather than alcohol the way it sticks with you. But it's got a bit of smoke that makes me think scotch. Dammit. It's not bad.

Pretty muted nose at first. Crazy dynamic palate. A drop of water brought out baking spices for me.
