Sweet nose, vanilla and caramel, but a long hot burn on the end. Felt like this was quality stuff, even if it wasn’t really my bag.

This has to be a rye. Smells like toast, and the rye spices just hang on for dear life. Good with a cube, and added some old fashion mix, actually stood up nice.

Fairly hot. It’s got some tongue pinching astringency and some baking spice notes. I’ve played myself so many times looking for a rye, but there’s not a ton of fruit here. No telltale cherry note.

I’m going with “excellent blended scotch”. Prove me wrong! Sweet smell, almost like a vermouth. Grape and oak. Wonderful smoky finish without the awful burn. Love it.
