I think I was just so excited for the advent season that I wasn’t ready to receive this bourbon. Hot out the gate, loved the nose but a slight medicinal character kept me from rating it too high.

Good start to the calendar and what a day to be alive. Love the addition of some fellow Jews to the calendar this year (shout out to the Rubins). Interesting flavor. Easy drink. Not too strong. My pregnant wife thinks it smells so you know this one is good.

Loving the nose in this one - super juicy cherry and vanilla. Sweet and spice on the tongue but not getting a ton of flavor. Nice burn, but a tad astringent for my liking.
